Renovation of the main sewage collector in Tallinn

CASE

During the renovation project of Tallinn's main sewage collector ordered by AS Tallinna Vesi our client Lemminkäinen was involved. In order to ensure free access to the damaged sewage pipeline section a mobile pumping station solution was necessary to employ in order to provide a continuous bypass of the fecal sewerage and very heavy flood overflow bypass thus preventing the reconstruction section from floods.

UPRENT SOLUTION

The task for UPRENT was to immediately deliver the pumping stations to the construction site as there was no time left for detailed project design and technical solution, according to client. The mobilization of the equipment was done with no hesitation. At the initial stage pipelines were installed and pumps weighing 9 tons were moved at the installation process of the pumping system. The pumping systems were modified various times during the project in order to adjust it to the client’s specifications and changing tasks.
